I have seen a real Z G Noose , Caracas Venezuela mid 70's , a young dentist who lived next block from my home, had a white RHD 240Z Fairlady with the G Noose, one of my uncles had a XKE JAG, I recall that the covers on the Z were glass like the ones on the XKE, or very hard and clear as glass plexi:ermm:.:ermm:.........POLYCARBONATE;) aircraft grade

By the way - I have dealt with '' Gira '' the ebay vendor selling these . Not cheap , but trustworthy . My very early 3 screw covers came from this vendor.

I'm still looking for the mounting blocks , I may make them if factory ones don't fall out of the sky soon !

Hi Chris:

Wait a minute - at Post #8 you state "The lenses are polycorbonate". At Post #10 you show the discription that says "Headlamp covers are made of clear plexiglas.

So looks like they are plexiglas {PMMA} - - or the person writing the description was just using the wrong generic / trade name?

I've seen several of the After-market ones broken, scratched.. and I'm pretty sure they are plexiglas! I've used SuperGlue to put a few back together as well.

FWIW,

Carl B.

So Jag's use the polycarbonate on their covers and the Z G nose use a plexiglas type cover.......:bulb: I have the generic poly/plexi type head light covers with the black molding from Motorsport and I get lots of complements, the covers give the Z a very Euro flair ;)
