Frank gave me this idea in another post. A thread dedicated to the before and after shots of our cars. The road to show what we have done since we bought the cars. For some it will be a grave to greatness thread, for others, it will be far less noticeable, but we will all love to see the rejuvenation of our beloved Z cars.

Here's a few before and after.....Body and Engine.

I'll post my 260 race car before and after pics. Keep in mind that it's still a POS with a rolled-on paintjob, but it went from a barn to a race track in 8 weeks.

This is my 1st generation BRE Spook as it progressed from a basket-case back to a usable part. Years ago I ran thru some water and ripped it off the car. I went back and recovered the pieces and stored them until the resto project got underway. The right side brake duct was missing so I removed the left side duct and used it to build a form for a new one. With everything glassed back together and painted, it makes for a very presentable and unique piece.

This was 16 years ago. The 2 on the left were 1996 and the 2 on the right were taken in 1997. Going to change out the side view mirrors and install the original hood, I think. It needs a new paint job. This time it will last longer...the car only gets about 1000 miles a year now. Before it was a daily driver. What do you think of the pics?

Before and during.....

Pics of when I "took delivery" of the Z in '07 and of the last photo before it's death.

The dusty roll out after sitting in the back of the garage for 26 years. A very long story about how it got in this condition.

The after is 2 years and one month later. Finally!
