2many is correct and I think everyone can pretty much agree. I bet we dont need to tell you these things about racing, Right scca_racer?

As an Co-driver with my friends rally team I have been in the car too many times when this happens... At the best we did two summersolts high in the air. The car hit the bank of the road at about 100km/h and jumped pretty much straight upwards.... Well the crowd had fun...It is costly though!! Two races before that summersolt were also interrrupted with crashes out of the road...Luckily it was deep snow in the ground at these times to soften the hit... We did manage to cut down one birch tree though.. These summersolts were done in the summer!! After that rally my friend just decided to buy new car!! The car we drove in then was a Ford rs2000 and it costs here about 10 000 Eur/dollars.... He bought a few years newer rs2000 and kept the old one as parts.....Some hobby to pay out of own pocket? No sponsors... You can see the old rs2000 in www.mediarace.fi/racing

I have pulled off much of the stuff that is destroyed and the car is not that bad. (hah)

The driver side fender liner and frame rail may be saveable. The rails bent much less than I had thought. Most of the flex was in body panels and in the fender liners. I will try to post some pictures later. It was too dark when I got through tonight to shoot anything worth looking at.

Be sure to check the upper rail (or arch)on the outside of the inner fender.

If the core support is Ok and the arch one the outside are OK you might get lucky and only need a new frame rail and a cheap pulling on a frame machine to straighten it. Be sure to check the T/C rod pocket and the core support on the passengers side to see if has pulled any on the passengers side. Frame rails are easy to replace, the core support and the outer arch are the killers.....:ermm:

The upper rail (fat part of fender liner) is tweaked. The core support is also gone. I suppose you are telling me that this is trashed again eh?

I will try to sell off the bits to save myself the time. If not I have located another donor chassis and should be back on the road for around $1000.

The car complete is worth $7000 and more with the spares.

Anybody want to buy me out for $4000? I would even throw in a straight chasis with complete interior, ac etc. to sell off to restoration guys.

As long as you have good parts on a donor car, you are in good shape. It's getting hard to find good inner fenders on donor cars.

As long as you have a donor car, and the firewall isn't tweaked at all, you've got a fairly straightforward fix. Not an easy one, but not as bad as it could be. I've got an old ITS 240 in the garage that was run into a dirt embankment at 75+ and the whole left side is gone all the way to the firewall with a good portion of the firewall pushed back.... It's probably going to be parted out.

The car is for sale, this is the FS forum after all. If you allready have a chasis than all the better for you. I have EVeRYTHING you might want or need, especially since you have a cage and a fuel cell in place. I have camber plates, coil overs, sway bars, spare fenders, wheels galore, boxes of spare axles and brake parts, and the list goes on and on.

I can deliver (for a the right price) or I can build you a car. I just don't know if I want to wreck another Z. 2 in one year is pretty hard.

Make me an offer, I could use some space in the garage.:beard:
