I'd say 1/5th to a 1/3rd up depending on your wiring. Clean the contact on the pressure sensor. Open up the oil filler (car may stall or idle rough) and see if the external cam oiler is spraying oil on the cam shaft. My external oiler loosened up dropping oil pressure once.

The low oil pressure could be nothing more than a bad sender unit in the block.

Doubtful. It's brand spanking new 'cause I knew I needed my best shot at an accurate reading.

General rule.....oil pressure should be 10 lbs. Per 1000 rpm's ........different gauges can show different readings is what I've found. It should come up when you're driving. Good call Frank.......
