I thought about the idea of tearing it down and selling the parts. I'm sure there are plenty of parts that would sell to those who need spare parts.

Then with the money, I could buy a ticket and fly to Belgium!

And that's just for starters. I'm sure it will cost more with my bad luck. And that won't even get the car running.

I'm sure it will cost at least $10k for what I want to do with the Z.

Mine was in worse shape than that, similar spots. Mine should've probably been scrapped. Almost a year gone and i'm starting to see light at the end of the tunnel now but prepare yourself for a lot of work. Main cost has been welding wire for me. The only panels I bought were outer sills

How often do you work on it, or do you work on major aspects of the car to 'see the light?'

I guess I'm afraid to take that leap and go too far with it before I think it's really scrap metal.
