Hey, just reading the latest issue of Motor Sport magazine and noticed an ad on page 161 for a Datsun 240Z "super samurai":ermm:, whatever that is. Must be pretty nice because the seller is asking 24,000 pounds! Anyone know anything about this car?

'Super Samuri' are a series of 240Zs 'breathed on' for customers of a performance shop in the UK by one Spike Anderson, of 'Big Sam' fame.

They are now quite rare .

'Big Sam' was raced to many victories by Win Percy, one of Britains great touring car drivers.

This article could stand to be updated, but for now it may give you a little background. Big Sam got a new owner a couple years ago AIR. I think it sold for something like $125K USD.. in a very depressed economy. Far less than Nick spent restoring it.

Thanks for the links! I know of Big Sam, but I had never heard of the Super Samuri Zeds. This car in Motor Sport has just had a 20,000 pound restoration, and the asking price is 24,000. Good thing I live on this side of the pond, or I would be sorely tempted
