zKars Posted June 1, 2012 Share #2 Posted June 1, 2012 (edited) Welcome! Did the Datsun Matsuri car show at the Knox mountain hill climb this year spark your Datsun mojo into action? Where did you find your new baby? The show will back next year for sure, be sure to bring that Z! Let us know we can help with anything. grantf Posted June 13, 2012 Share #5 Posted June 13, 2012 Nice car. Whats up with the side trim being mounted so low?
olzed Posted June 13, 2012 Share #6 Posted June 13, 2012 Nice car. Whats up with the side trim being mounted so low? There is probably some sense in placing the strip that low if the car was a daily driver. Supermarket door bangers perhaps. bc280z Posted June 13, 2012 Author Share #7 Posted June 13, 2012 Thanks, they were probably door bangers like said above i'd like to remove them over the winter as well as fill the holes from the old bumper brackets and either mount early bumpers or just leave em off. grantf Posted June 13, 2012 Share #8 Posted June 13, 2012 (edited) just one week after putting my car back together after painting this happend. I know some say the big bumpers on my car are ugly, but the rear one saved my car. Edited June 13, 2012 by grantf
mgood Posted June 14, 2012 Share #9 Posted June 14, 2012 That is why I like my big bumpers. Also that is the way it came, it's a 280 not a 240 "want a be".
