Posted June 3, 201212 yr comment_391884 Well Z World I bought a Z with the 4bbl set up. Decided to get a Rebello motor but I can not run a 4bbl with a Rebello motor, right? So I was wondering if anyone on here has any good Z car gurus that can convert me back to those bell tops. I am not having any luck finding a write up on it. June 3, 201212 yr comment_391901 I might be interested in selling my Rebello modified SU's. Always planned on going to triple Weber 45's anyway. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/43408-73-240-re-convert/#findComment-391901 Share on other sites
June 3, 201212 yr comment_391907 Amongst the items you'll need (this is not all inclusive, just what immediately comes to mind):New intake gasketFrom a 70-72: intake manifold, throttle linkage, balance tube, air cleaner, carburetorsZ Specialties or Zcarsource would be two sources for some of the parts. June 3, 201212 yr comment_391935 If you are going to install a stroker anyway, you might consider going to fuel injection. Search the threads here, and at Hybrid Z. There are some really good systems available that would produce more horsepower and require less tuning in the long run. They are expensive, but so is a Rebello rebuild. You may not always get what you pay for, but you will always pay for what you get...(There is no such thing as a free lunch...)
