Posted June 3, 201212 yr comment_391941 Hey all, Recently acquired my first Z car, and gotta say, I love it! The car was sitting in a dry barn for years and years, before I picked it up. I recently cracked 4,000 Original miles on the car. Being that it sat for so long, I have plenty of little things to work on that keep popping up, and will continue to do so. Anyway, here she is. I have an RB25 that I bought as a summer project, then this Z pretty much just fell in my lap. I'm definitely thinking that they would make for an awesome project together. June 3, 201212 yr Author comment_391952 The car sat in a dry barn for 30+ years. Yes, I do believe that it has that low of mileage. There is very little pedal wear, the engine bay is too clean for 100,000+ IMO. The PO parked it with his other cars in storage and forgot about it. June 3, 201212 yr comment_391954 Hi good luck with the car.Odd that it has a cage fitted from brand new. Appears to be chipping to the hatch strut, and misaligned front bumper. FWIW there should be no wear anywhere for that low mileage.Very nice find though. June 4, 201212 yr comment_391961 It has a roll bar and a wink mirror.Yeah, this car was raced. But who cares. It definitely does not have 4000 miles on it. But who cares. It is yours now and it is time to start your story. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/43412-first-z-car/#findComment-391961 Share on other sites
June 4, 201212 yr Author comment_391962 Ya, I'm not much concerned with the history of the car, either way. All I'm worried about is that there is little to no rust and everything is there. Great place to start this toy. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/43412-first-z-car/#findComment-391962 Share on other sites
