Pulled the engine and auto tranny today.........Zedy did it in his tube socks.....I did it in flip flops.

In my defense, they were Hanes Ankle socks... so it was perfectly safe...

Looking at the pictures - I suppose that Guy also has a Silver Cherry Picker for use on the Silver Z and a White one etc...

Notice also how "presentable" the Yellow Cad Plating on the original fuel/brake lines are? A very low mileage example..

Nice Z you found. I would have change the Auto tranny for sure. Who the hell was buying an automatic 240Z?

Cleaned up under the hood......came out beautiful! Dropped the front suspension....installing new ball joints, bushings, Tokico shocks and Eibach springs. I'll clean everything like new.

Cleaned up under the two front wheel wells and got my son (Five and Dime) to shoot 918 orange. It came out beautiful. Also....before and after to strut restoration.....new Eibachs, Tokico HP's, new rotors, brake lines and brake line clips.

So you taking it to Chuck next week? We all know its just a matter of time. Looks good.

I finally got the front suspension back in. New Eibachs, Tokico HP's, new ball joints, tie rod ends, all new bushings, brake lines, pads, rotors, clips etc. etc. Came out nice. Now to the rear suspension, diff, gas tank etc. etc.

Just finished shooting the rear wells and spare well.

I've been busy this weekend......acid cleaned the inside of the tank, then sealed it with POR 15 Tank Sealer.....that stuff works great.....looks like new inside. Then, I cleaned up the outside and painted it. Also cleaned up the diff, installed side seals and new diff cover gasket......followed by fresh paint. Same with the other items in the pics. Everything is ready to go back in.
