Did my mandatory search but did not see solution, my new to me Z has a minor but irritating noisy rear hatch, is there an adjustment that can be done to make it close tighter , this Z had the seals replaced like 10 yrs ago and look very nice and are not dry, my former Z had old seals but was not noisy, ANY ADVICE will be welcome :disappoin

10 bucks says that if you put some vaseline, or light grease on the hatch side-guides, with some light oil where the plastic slides up and down, then rub the rubber blocks on the edge of the hatch with the same light grease, you will eliminate the noises. Also rub an oily rag on the hatch piston, and lube the hinges at the ends of the piston mounts. Works wonders.

Thanks for responding, I did the lube thing, nada happen. The hatch is not totally even with the body, just a hair , so I will try the mention adjustments. Guys I know your not in to Z resto-mods but let me tell this car is a marvel, it was prepare with no regard to money or short cuts in its built, I truly love the classic sexy lines and her new modern drivetrain ;)
