This morning I had a banner that indicated that I was ...banned from the site/club,it indicated no reason for suspension and that it will never be lifted....early this week I got an email note asking for my "membership fee'' I have been donating money to the site as a voluntary action, SO IF I DON'T SEND MONEY I HAVE NO PLACE HERE........ I was able to get access and post today to the site after a ten $ paypal "donation''......PLEASE CLARIFY THIS.....as of this date I have donated 70/seventy $ and think that it is more than a fair donation for a ''member'' with a join date from Dec 2011,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,hey if you don't like my pristine/trophy winner 1972 240Z with a professional installed LS1 plus over 55,000.00 US $ spent on it's built then say so.

Mike and Arne ,,do you want me to send a copy of the E-mail that demanded for money or my access to the site will stop,,,,,,I did respond to such E-mail , it came from the webmaster and ID as the real thing.
Yes, please. Email address coming to you in PM. Please include headers, if possible.

Everyone says they wouldn't have traded but they havn't had the pleasure of mashing the pedal on that silver car That thing will snap your neck and is SMOOOOOOOTTTHHH. Ground control coil overs with ARI top hats and tokiko adjustables. It rides nice. rev first, slam second and the car doesn't even chirp a gear it just STICKS. Awesome ride. I've got 2 stock Z's, I wish mine rode this good. Now all you have to do is make it stop Lee. Good to see you the other day. We have to get together when i'm not so busy and take a cruise. I'm about to dismantle Z number 2, i'm still working on the motor, cleaning it up i've got to bead blast the oil pan and replace a bunch of vacuum lines and gaskets. I'd like a suspension set up like whats on that silver car. The arizona Z car rear crossmember and Q45 diff definetly hook well
Thanks Mike, yes there has been some negs on the trade , but is my mula and my choice, the brake booster is on the UPS truck ,,,,,,see ya

I looked into this today. At the end of a subscription term, our server will send an email (and display a banner) notification about the upcoming subscription end date. The email and banner are simple notifications that occur on a monthly basis. The alert is a notice that your subscription will either end or it will automatically renew. Here's a copy of the email that was sent.

Although the message is normal, I can see how the message could be misconstrued. Because we don't give any additional permissions to supporting members (other than changing username to RED and a user title change), the email alert doesn't apply and should be changed. Note: I think the original email was designed for systems where additional permissions are given to paying members, which we do not utilize.

I'll take a look for the email alerts and will change it. Thank you OJ for bringing this up. Again, your access will NOT be limited if your subscription expires. You are not required to pay.

Do some searching in Googe guys - this problem has been around for a while. There's a malware program out there (Ransomware) that hijacks a person's browser, relabels a web site they have in their Favorites/Bookmarks, and the redirects to a phishing/scam site. There's nothing wrong with Classic ZCars.

That is Ok but with the banned banner there was no access to the site until I made a PAYPAL payment. Please remedy this on order to avoid future problems............................................

Can you please post a screenshot of the error? If the banner was from our website, it may have been a warning error with the confusing words. I will look into the wording shown by the alerts and make them a little easier to understand.

After the Paypal payment the Banner note vanished .....But it read like this'' your banned, reason not given, plus it indicated that the ban will not not be lifted''or something very similar, while this was on there was no access to the site as a member, no access to profile, no access to make a reply ......In hopes that this very odd episode will not surface again,I thank the fixers.

Ok, if you see a banner like that again please take a screenshot and send it over to us. I have no idea why you would see that alert on the web page. I know you weren't banned because the logs don't reflect any such thing. Was it an actual pop-up banner or was it a PM or a yellow alert on the top of the page?

If this happens again on your renewal date next month please let me know.

Mike

PS: Are there any other supporting members seeing anything similar... especially toward the end of your subscription date?
