This morning I had a banner that indicated that I was ...banned from the site/club,it indicated no reason for suspension and that it will never be lifted....early this week I got an email note asking for my "membership fee'' I have been donating money to the site as a voluntary action, SO IF I DON'T SEND MONEY I HAVE NO PLACE HERE........ I was able to get access and post today to the site after a ten $ paypal "donation''......PLEASE CLARIFY THIS.....as of this date I have donated 70/seventy $ and think that it is more than a fair donation for a ''member'' with a join date from Dec 2011,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,hey if you don't like my pristine/trophy winner 1972 240Z with a professional installed LS1 plus over 55,000.00 US $ spent on it's built then say so.

The phone E- Mail alert woke me up with that nice little note , in hopes the site governors will remedy this ........................................................if I get banned again for not ''PAYING''please notify...........................................

This is just a "canned" message that happens every time your subscription comes to an end. You will not lose access because we do not require payment to use the site. I thought we already made this clear last month?

Ok, I think I figured out this dilemma. First of all, I have to say the system is working correctly. While I am trying to figure out how to make the email warnings more polite, I do think there is a reason 72OJ was the only person experiencing this problem. Here's what I've got so far.

1) In the beginning, 72 OJ was in our regular "registered" member group.

2) Somehow he was placed in the "disabled" group. (Still trying to figure this out...)

3) While he was in the "disabled" group, he made a single donation using the automated system.

4) By doing this, the system automatically moved him from the "disabled" group to the "supporting members" group.

5) After 30 days, the system would then put him back into the disabled accounts group. It appears the system will always put a user back into the original group they were in, before the donation.

6) Because he was in the "disabled" group, it sent multiple warnings.

7) A few days later he then made another single donation, and the system put him back into the "supporting" members group.

It appears this went on for several months. I was a bit confused because I thought he purchased an automated renewing plan and there should have been no reason for the delay in between. Anyway, today I moved him from the disabled group to the standard registered users group. The issue should now be resolved.

In other words:

Problem was: Disabled Group -> Donation -> Supporting Member Group -> Subscription Expires -> Disabled Group

Fix was: Registered Group -> Donation -> Supporting Member Group -> Subscription Expires -> Registered Group

Thanks.

Mike
