It may be the case of a broken connector! I have had two occassions where a female connector on an ignition wire from the coil to the distributor has broken due to age. They are hard to spot because the break inside the outer shield. You should be able to isolate to see if you have spark at the points and or spark plugs. If you have spark then it is fuel related. Good luck in your search.

I think Branham76 has started three threads regarding the same problem. From what I have read I think you need to double check the coil to distributor connection.

Then when it runs you can drive up here to Seattle and help fix my car.

You can't expect to get accurate help with such a vague description. You write a post like we all live next door and have seen your car and had a beer with you.

History of car?

Spark plugs look good, distributor looks good(what does that mean)-- are they putting out spark?

Fuel getting to the carbs?

Did you just do something to the car, or you just woke up and the car didn't run.

Doesn't fire up? Is it firing at all? Did it run before? Fire one up!

You see-we are doing a lot of guessing here-help us help you.

Perhaps the moderator will combine or delete some of his threads. He may not quite understand how the forum works. But yes He should give up a little more info if he wants help, But I do understand what it is like to be in a pickle.

Check for spark.
