Posted June 29, 201212 yr comment_394352 Both of the lock pins on the spindle pins broke off at the threads, flush with the spindle pin after trying to loosen them up a little. I have the spindle pin removal tool. Any help, please. TimsZ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/43680-spindle-pin-help/ Share on other sites
June 29, 201212 yr comment_394354 Use a punch to drive them through and out. It's a tapered pin, no threads on the inside only on the end where the nut was. June 29, 201212 yr comment_394359 Zed head is dead right. Use a 5/16 or 8mm punch and whack it HARD with a BIG hammer from the end that broke off at the threads. Heat it up as hot as you can with whatever torch you can get ahold of first. Do NOT be gentle.
