260DET Posted November 24, 2017 Author Share #123 Posted November 24, 2017 Not my 280ZX but I've followed it's back yard development over a few years, besides I have a 280ZX so some vicarious pleasure is going on lol. OE type suspension including semi trailing rear retained but tweaked.
Patcon Posted November 24, 2017 Share #124 Posted November 24, 2017 What is the deal with the shifter? Is it automatic? It doesn't seem like it has a shift pattern just up or down...
260DET Posted November 24, 2017 Author Share #125 Posted November 24, 2017 It's a sequential shift manual gearbox, this particular one is made by Quaife. Check out how it's shifted forward for the next lowest gear and back for the next highest.

gnosez Posted October 10, 2020 Share #130 Posted October 10, 2020 Some of that is Wilwood comp pads and the other and primary source is the left LCA (just) touching the rotor under heavy braking. I moved the LCA pivot points to reduce bumpsteer so take a look again and see how little I need to saw the steering wheel back and forth. LCA has had a visit with the grinder (again) but it can't be tested until I get to The Glen next week.

Not wishing to be 'that guy', but those Porsches looked like they were on club parade laps. Hardly any kind of 'race', was it?
