From my very limited experience from making much less complicated drawings I would want pictures straight on to those edges such as straight down, looking from the side, across from one side of the car to the other or from the front of the car. For the area next to the windshield I would think you might also want a picture taken at the same angle as the windshield. Or maybe several angles is the best help? Flash might work better to define lines better? You may already have all of the pictures you need as another possibility.
