WOW, you are gonna brake something doing the jack drop thing, I see a punctured gas tank in your future if you do that opperation at a higher RPM like you should. Tow the car around the block in 5TH gear AFTER you verify the master and slave are working as they should.

I had this problem with my 240Z as it was sitting in a chicken coop for 20 years. I just jacked the car up on stands and ran it in gear and reved up and down and used the brakes and ebrake and it broke free after about a minute of it. I think I had it in 4th the whole time. Think about it this way,....it doesn't hurt you to try some more and be rough with it as far as revving and braking as if it doesn't work the clutch just has to be replaced right? Try again and I bet you'll get it!

Thanks all, catching up on the responses,

I removed the slave cylinder and had free motion in the clutch fork; confirmed the slave was moving the fork as well with the help of someone else pumping the clutch while I watched.

New transmission is coming at some point regardless - the roadster 5-speed it has was installed in the early '80's when the supply of ZX transmissions was still installed in the ZXs... It's two decades old and with the motor I'll be putting in this fall I'd like a beefier transmission anyway. Plus, then I can make some lucky Roadster-owners day.

Yes, had the clutch pedal down, followed the instructions. Admittedly in that video I probably didn't rev enough; didn't want to ruin the 40 year old driver's seat if something terrible happened. If you catch my drift. Will keep playing with it and re-trying these steps.
