bondoking Posted July 15, 2012 Share #1 Posted July 15, 2012 Bought the little stinker new in '78 when I was 31, and just spent a chunk of change getting it refurbed because I just can't part with it. Turned out pretty nice, but now I am looking to change out rims and tires and I have a problem with the air flow meter. Will be interested to see what I can find here. SteveJ Posted July 15, 2012 Share #2 Posted July 15, 2012 If you don't have to keep the air flow meter stock, you may want to search over at Hybridz.org. I'm sure someone has posted a swap that shouldn't be too difficult.

Nathan Mayo.....Orlando, FLTesting the AFM according to the procedure in the Engine Fuel section of the FSM would be the first step. All that you need is an ohm-meter for the basic testing. When things go wrong with the EFI system it's often hard to tell which piece is actually the problem.www.xenons30.com/referenceMore symptoms described of what's happening will also get more suggestions. Good luck.
