Replacement seat covers

I know there are quite a few threads on this subject already, so apologies for that, but has anyone any experience of these replacement seat cover kits currently on Ebay?

They look a better finish than the MSA kits, which dont get the best reviews, but I would like to know from someone who has used them before I am pressing the Buy it now button, thanks.

I bought the synthetic leather covers below from the same seller. I will try to take some pics of them this evening as I have been meaning to do so ever since I got them. Overall I am impressed with the quality. The material is very soft with a mild grain so they look alot like leather, they feel better than vinyl, but not as good as geniune leather. I plan to install them along with new foam I got from Classic Datsun on to my 240z seats. The covers themselves are not made in the US and are either made in Vietnam or India but the stitching and detail seems very good.

If they are true REAL leather and not the leatherette material being sold as real leather, that's a great price. However, the leatherette material I'm referring to IS leather... but only about 1/32" thick if that, bonded to another material.

True leather re-covers where the material is ALL leather, I think would be much more expensive than their asking price.

I haven't any experience with either one of those re-covers, but keep in mind that new foam, and good condition springs (whether rubber strap or steel spring) as well as knowing how to use the wires that enhance the fit are all critical to doing a proper re-cover. I've re-covered seats that were supposedly "professionally" recovered and gotten results that were more to the owner's liking.

I purchased them, the leather ones, and they are due in any day now. I ordered them in black leather, silver top stiching, and the old style Z logo on the headrests. I'm taking them with new foam from MSA to a local shop to have them installed. It may be a few weeks but I'll try to get some photos of the end result up.

Thanks for the replies fellas, when either of you who have bought them get the chance take some pictures for me and let me know how well you got on once fitted that would be great. Hardway, I am tempted now to order the cheaper synthetic covers from your description :D
