for sale is my beautiful 1971 datsun 240z with 82,500 original miles. the car is very clean inside and out and needs nothing. paint looks great for its age when washed and waxed. clear coat is not coming off, and has good shine to it. engine starts right up and runs very strong. does not leak or burn any fluids. tires are brand new. front brakes recently replaced with OEM. all rubber, chrome, and glass are original and in great shape. interior is near perfect with only slight wear in drivers seat. dash is NOT cracked at all. factory 4-speed shifts flawlessly and clutch is firm. very small amounts of surface rust on passenger side rocker and on panel beneath tail lights(you actually have to look for it) the rest of the car is rust free. i am the second owner of the car. the bad: hatch carpet is faded. missing clear plastic cover for license plate lights. hatch will not stay up on its own. there is an area on the hood where water had dripped in the same spot and over time has caused some pitting. previous owner tried to use touch up paint, but is still pretty obvious. for a 41 year old car, this thing is amazing. extremely fun to drive and gets attention everywhere. these cars are getting harder and harder to find these days, and continue to go up in value. would be a perfect candidate for a light restoration or enjoy as is. please feel free to call/text any time 423-xxxx-xxxx. i would be happy to provide additional/specific photos, just let me know. no trades. test drive with cash in hand. serious buyers only please. thanks!

Isn't it odd when they don't post interior pictures. That's half the car's value.

The 71 looks like a good deal with room to haggle, the 73 at that price point with room to haggle is tempting.....

zbane,,,,,,,that mirror looks a bit big and not the same style as OE , I don't think that it is a Z mirror...............FWIW
