Posted August 12, 201212 yr comment_398437 Remember the game I spy? Well I thought I would start a Z version! This game might work or might not, but there should be some winners!Anyway, how many times have you seen a Z close to where you live or somewhere you frequent? I know I have and wondered what their story is or if they are members here.So if we had a thread going that stated when and where you saw the Z and some kind of description, maybe there can be some awareness of fellow Z'ers in your area.I'll go first Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/44084-i-spy-a-z/ Share on other sites

August 12, 201212 yr comment_398442 I live in a small town in Alabama so I spy more Beetle Bugs than Datsuns. But I'll look harder now. Do junkyards count? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/44084-i-spy-a-z/#findComment-398442 Share on other sites
August 12, 201212 yr comment_398444 Junkyards and Z fenders at the side of the road do count. I used to see an orange 240Z here with a license plate that said something about Suzy. Not sure of spelling. It looked to be in great condition. Someone was sitting in the parking lot near my daily driver car in a gold 280ZX that was in excellent condition a year ago. They must have kept it garaged. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/44084-i-spy-a-z/#findComment-398444 Share on other sites
August 12, 201212 yr Author comment_398448 Now to make this game easier you should "go advanced" on your response and put the town in the subject line. This way folks can scan easily thru the thread to find someone in their town. August 12, 201212 yr comment_398449 I spy a red 280Z just a block over from my house in Beaumont Alberta. Its got wide flares and center line rims and a hood scoop. Probably a V 8 conversion. Hasn't moved in a while, looks to be fairly scruffy! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/44084-i-spy-a-z/#findComment-398449 Share on other sites
August 12, 201212 yr comment_398450 I saw a white 280zx on my way to take my girl to dinner friday night in Salisbury Md. He pulled out on the highway in front of us, I didn't even tap the brake off cruise because I knew if that guy was driving a Z he wouldn't make me brake, he probably could use some new rear struts because boy did that car squat when he hit second but off he went in Z style as usual, I was jelous i was driving my truck. August 13, 201212 yr comment_398474 Hey Steve... I'm just up the road from you in Noblesville!I spy a white-ish (maybe primered) S30 Z!Yesterday around 1pm I was on my way back from the Kokomo Automotive Museum and on the way out of town I noticed a truck pulling a Z on a car trailer on the other side of Hwy 31. The Z had a widebody kit and G nose... and looked pretty rough. August 13, 201212 yr Author comment_398486 Hey Nate, that's the way to play the game! I'm planning on doing coffee and cars on the 25th at Meridian and 465-maybe we can make a good showing for the Z cars!Putting the location in the subject line makes this fast and easy, especially since it is in bold. Hopefully this will help us make connections and get the "lurkers" to come out Edited August 13, 201212 yr by madkaw Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/44084-i-spy-a-z/#findComment-398486 Share on other sites
August 14, 201212 yr comment_398618 Other than my own, I've only seen one in person. It was white and a little rusty. Didn't get a good enough look to see what kind of Z it was. Seemed early, though.Oh yeah, this is SLC, UT Edited August 14, 201212 yr by ninjazombiemaster additional info Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/44084-i-spy-a-z/#findComment-398618 Share on other sites
