It has a strange growth on the rear panel of the hatch! You sould have that looked at! Do you think it might be malignent?

Congrats! Looks nice from the photos, except maybe for that malignant thing growing out the back.

. The wing is quite a monstrosity isn't it? Anywho, it's a 1970 240Z. The engine has 2500 miles on it I traded it straight across for a 1990 Honda Civic Hatchback to a 17 year old who thought the honda was "cooler." The body is perfect, paint is new, interior is practacally mint. Needs a front bumper, (should have seen what he did to it to try and "modify" it.) The only rust spot is in the fender-well next to the battery. Good thing is my dad's been welding for over 20 years, so we should have that fixed in no time. Only thing mechanical is a slightly leaky tranny, and I believe it needs a new cluth/flywheel. The car was previously owned by an older woman who kept it garaged and took great care of it. The 17 year old bought it, added allot of stickers and the wing, (stickers went the second I bought it), then he wrecked another car. Needless to say, he had to sell the car due to insurance rates climbing on his part. Which actually doesn't make sence because the Z is less in insurance. Either way, I ended up with the Z, which is worth far more than the civ to And it's a million times better than the civic

Great car but if we had a poll regarding the thing on the hatch, it would be the most one sided poll in the history of this site, do the car a huge favour and chop it off!!

I think the guy you swapped with is in need of a physcological assessment

I'm surprised that the kid didn't want to keep the wing-thingy, it would be more at home on a Honda afterall.....:cross-eye

Hehehe, it is pretty guady In that case, you guys have any suggestions on companies that make wings for the 240? I'm thinking a more discrete swept design like on the Cobra coupes

Get your self a MSA catalog. They've got lots of photos of nice rear spoilers to compare and dream. Hopfuly, one will cover the holes the Kid drilled to mount that thing! An air dam will balance it out as well.

I've always questioned the usefulness of a wing on the back of a front wheel drive car
