Posted August 29, 201212 yr comment_400096 I realize it's difficult to see without taking them off the car, but does anyone reconize this header? Thanks much, Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/44245-headers/ Share on other sites

August 29, 201212 yr Author comment_400111 That'd be neat. I'll check the catalog tonight. Thanks Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/44245-headers/#findComment-400111 Share on other sites
August 29, 201212 yr comment_400135 They are identical to what I had on 721. I think they are Interpart. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/44245-headers/#findComment-400135 Share on other sites
August 30, 201212 yr Author comment_400190 Chris was nice enough to send me a copy of this catalog earlier in the year; never thought to look here. Figured they'd be generic. Sure enough, looks like that's the header. Wish there were product reviews available from the early '70s; I imagine a good amount of engineering has happened in the past 40 years, but does anyone know if these things breath well enough? September 4, 201212 yr comment_400646 Well, it depends on which BRE you're referring to: The BRE race team or BRE parts. The race team did build their own headers and some their design was then used by Internpart to make and sell the headers you see in the BRE Parts catalog. FWIW............so civilians got these and hardcore racers got the BRE/Interpart in 1972 ?
