That should weld up just fine as long as they clean the area really well before starting. Put it this way, if welded right, it won't break at the weld again but might another spot.

I found I have an exhaust leak, (very minor), at the manifold to block. It's a 4 hour fix, but it's still a good bit of work. Plan to order a new gasket this Friday.

Hey, Julio............I see that that your 72 silver Z is also asking for some attention, money pits but we seem to find the cheeZe , helping hands and time for them. The last 90 days ,I really can complain much , the A/C a minor repair, the radiator a no choice repair, windshield stone chip- part of road rash had to do repair,the E brake coming apart- my own doing another no choice repair, brake booster a no choice fix, the latest repair the above diff snap..................

The weld is done, around 3 pm this afternoon went to my friends man cave ( lots of tools, lift + welding equipment) just to inspect the work needed to take apart the diff mount and the guys decided to tackle the fix. Let me tell you ,this two car nuts that helped me in this episode are 1st rate, took us five hrs . Well she now has beauty scars marks, ''FrankieZvettezetein'' is back on the road in record time...........
