Posted September 28, 201212 yr comment_402859 Drove the Z today to meet a former co-worker for lunch, and while on highway 92 saw a green 510 with a white racing stripe. I speed-up to pull along side and we both gave each other a thumbs-up. Last weekend I saw a early 70's Datsun pick-up at home depot. Driver was retiered and is the original owner, and it's still driven daily.About three weeks ago, I spotted a series one 240Z parked on the street at an apartment complex about 2 blocks from my home. Left a message on his windshield, last week, but so far no word. Nice to see other datsuns on the road! September 29, 201212 yr comment_402868 Then there is me... Living in the rust belt called IL and only see maybe two others in the course of an entire year. Unless you count the three in a scrap yard I ran across last weekend. Wrong years for me. September 29, 201212 yr comment_402876 Datsun's are a rare sight in the Wash,DC / Baltimore MD corridor .I only see two other Z's at the local Sunday coffee meet on occasion, both are V8 modified ,one has a Ford 5.0 and the other one has Chevy carb 350 , both are blue and head turners At the seven local car shows that I have attended this Summer, mine was the only Datsun in attendance Edited September 29, 201212 yr by 72 OJ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/44536-datsuns-datsuns-everywhere/#findComment-402876 Share on other sites
