Mike Posted October 19, 2012 Share #13 Posted October 19, 2012 I'd say she is probably going to be with similar daily drivers in the same condition. You can use ebay as a basis because there are a lot of z's to look at. But I'd also take a look at Craigslist in CA. CA has the most Z's by far and you'll get a good idea of what other people are looking at if they are shopping. You can also see some pretty nice examples at out classifieds site here: http://datsunclassifieds.comJust guessing, based on the photos and no hidden problems, she looks to me about 5k-range. Above that we would have to see more detail and if the car is in primo shape you can see prices up to 15-20k. Of course if you want that kind of money the car would need to be stock and delivered with some good papers. Again it all "depends" on the story of the car and the available history.M
Carl Beck Posted October 19, 2012 Share #14 Posted October 19, 2012 Non-stock, very nice project car -- $5K to $6K. If you are lucky enough to find a cash buyer that happens to love everything you have done - $7.5K. A lot depends on advertising it far and often - then answering the phone when people call - and showing it when they want. It really is a buyers market - and if you don't respond - the next seller they call will.FWIW,Carl B.
Hardway Posted October 19, 2012 Share #15 Posted October 19, 2012 I agree with Carl, $5K - $6k is the mark on it. Your car appears to be a great start for the next owner and would make any Z car owner proud. As said before use all the free and low cost options at your disposal for selling it. Craigslist is great and since you already have good pics you are already ahead. Make a nice for sale sign and keep it in the window when you drive it around town. GLWS Keep us posted on it.
