350ZG - Very Bizarre - Tamiya Model

This is a modified Tamiya kit.

In the text on the builder's site he says that he was moved to make this "350ZG" as a tribute to the original 240ZG that he loves so much. He says that he also loves the 432, but as the body on the 432 was so similar to a "normal" Z he thought the ZG treatment would be the most appropriate...........

I can't say that it looks any better than a normal Z33 to my eye, but I think Nissan need this guy working at their design studio. He seems to have a much better idea of how their modern cars might be related to their past history than they themselves do.

They can start him off in the Exterior Door Handle Design Department.................

Hope he can do a "tushy tuck" as well as the door handles.....LOL

The elongated nose does make the lights blend in better with the body.

But like the ZG nose on an original Z, it's gonna highlight the short rear deck and on the Z33 it's going to be more noticeable than on the early cars.

Hi All,

I attended this years Tokyo Auto Salon and was amazed at the numbers of tuning companies that had Z33 cars which they were showcasing their develpoed parts. (I LOVE the TAS!!!)

I am currently in HK, but when I get back home to Perth I will upload my TAS images.

Anyway, on the Z33 ZG topic, there are no fewer than two companies that have developed ZG look body parts for the Z33 (front bumpers etc). One is called Z Sport (Central 20) and the other is Impul.

The Impul front bar for the Z33 actually has a bit on the bumper to replicate the silver/grey bit on the original 240ZG.

Pics to come...around mid Feb...worth the way (well I think so anyway!)
