I've been a member of this site since '09, however, I didn't purchase my 240Z until earlier this year. She's a 1972 918 orange 240Z, L24 w/SU carbs, 4-spd manual and original. I drove from my home in PA out to OK to purchase the car in non-running condition. She had her E88 cylinder head machined with a new valvetrain. Stock bottom end with good compression, and she's running smoothly right now
The only real issue is the battery tray/inner fender and the passender floorboard. Everything else is free of rust, the undercarriage is clean(for a 40 year old car) and the interior needs to be reinstalled. I'm happy with her and will try to get a build thread at some point when work and time allow for it.
I'm also interested in attending any meets for the 2013 season along the Mid-Atlantic region. Hope to make some new friends and talk Zs :0
