I'd like to take this opportunity to announce the launch of our newest sister-site, DatsunClassifieds.com ! You might say to yourself that we already had a classifieds system, but, you'll think twice after visiting the new format. The site has been improved by leaps and bounds. I've been working on this system for the past 6 months and it's exciting to say that it is ready for prime time.

The new system also shares the same user database with our existing club member database, so, when you want to take a quick look it's as easy as logging in with the same credentials. However, if you aren't a CZCC member, you also have the option for signing up for a simple membership on the classifieds site. We were also able to migrate nearly every one of old ads from our previous system -- feel free to log in and find your old ads.

As everything goes for our club, the goal is to provide quality services for our members. Classic Zcars, and now, Classic Datsun Classifieds. Come on over and take a quick look.

I have one request. I tried to search by distance and found that the maximum distance from the ZIP code is 100 miles. That might be good for Z cars & parts near a West coast urban area, but it limits the search results for many of us. Can the distances be expanded?

Mike, might I also make a suggestion. I like to view the ads by posted date. It'd be nice to have that filter.

Thanks for the update, I ended up creating an ad for my car last night and it looks great. However, it did throw me off at first because I started to make one last weekend and thought it looked totally differant.

Hi SteveJ, yes I just added more options for search by distance. This feature is useful for new ads, however, the ads that I imported from the previous system did not have address information as a mandatory field. Therefore, you will won't see all of the old ads. The NEW ad system shows City, State, ZiP as mandatory fields. I don't require street address as a mandatory field because some people aren't comfortable giving out their exact location. Anyway, search by distance has been improved at your request.

Gary, have you tried the link "Recently Added" on the top menu bar (http://www.datsunclassifieds.com/recently-added.html)? That will give you all of the recent ads, no matter if they are cars, parts, or want ads. You can also try the RSS feed for the most recent ads (if you have an RSS news feeder on your computer). The RSS feed is at http://www.datsunclassifieds.com/rss-feed/

Should be there... mandatory City, State, Zip. Street address is optional by user.

Hiya, we migrated old ads as well as all of the user accounts from this website. Some of the imported information won't have all of the fields because the old system wasn't as specific as this new one.

Michael, it seems you are the only user with this issue for some reason. I don't know why! So, I'll delete your account and you can create a new one? Is that ok?
