On a serious note - this car is supposed to be local to me, I've never seen it before, nor does the dealer's name ring any bells. Gonna have to look into this a bit.

Update: Ridley's rides is a Harley dealer in Salem, about 60 miles away, even though the eBay location is said to be Eugene. Probably the car belongs to a friend and they are assisting with the auction.

She must be a biker babe - and a twenty-footer at that, not much of an assist in my estimation. At least she didn't climb into the engine bay.

Sold for $7500.00 - too cheap IMHO. If the car really had 49K miles and runs strong..

They just had a thing on the local TV news about that same EBay ad - using "sex" to sell cars, is it right? The owner, Ridley himself, said everybody does it, and gave the Carls's Junior ad for BBQ as an example. Weird.

I have a sense that the "model" and the Z appeal to two very different types of potential buyers. Nice dash cap, though.

More Ebay sellers are using models and I am positive their hit count is easily triple than others just to see the model. I would like to know if the sellers are seeing more real sales by using the models. Girls and cars go together like baseball and a cold beer. yes and if strategically placed in the photo they can hide rust or primer spots like in this photo.
