On a serious note - this car is supposed to be local to me, I've never seen it before, nor does the dealer's name ring any bells. Gonna have to look into this a bit.

Update: Ridley's rides is a Harley dealer in Salem, about 60 miles away, even though the eBay location is said to be Eugene. Probably the car belongs to a friend and they are assisting with the auction.

They just had a thing on the local TV news about that same EBay ad - using "sex" to sell cars, is it right? The owner, Ridley himself, said everybody does it, and gave the Carls's Junior ad for BBQ as an example. Weird.

More Ebay sellers are using models and I am positive their hit count is easily triple than others just to see the model. I would like to know if the sellers are seeing more real sales by using the models. Girls and cars go together like baseball and a cold beer. This trend has been around for a long time and will continue to go on for a long time.

yes and if strategically placed in the photo they can hide rust or primer spots like in this photo.
