Posted December 8, 201212 yr comment_408637 It came installed on the L28 I purchased, the numbers on the side are, D6F5-02 7904 22100 N4700 I came with a GM HEI ignition control that the p/o said hit the dreaded 4000 rpm stumble. Is this a magnetic pick up? Thanks, Chris Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/45116-which-distributor-is-this/ Share on other sites
December 8, 201212 yr comment_408641 It is a magnetic pickup coil, probably off of a 260Z or a 280Z. Somewhere on this forum there is a spreadsheet of all of the Z(X) distributors from points-style to ZX style, with part numbers for each. The part numbers are in the FSMs also, if you wanted to take guess and open up the Electrical chapter. Before you get too carried away, take the breaker plate off and see if the ball bearings are still there and free to move. December 9, 201212 yr comment_408660 FYI, it's a 77 or 78 distributor. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/45116-which-distributor-is-this/#findComment-408660 Share on other sites
