Posted December 30, 201212 yr comment_410395 I cant find the leading edge quarter window molding for my 240z. This is the rubber molding that covers the front lip,..where the quarter window meets the door frame. Does anyone know where I can find this molding? December 30, 201212 yr comment_410404 I believe the part numbers are 76840-E4100 and 76841-E4100. The Courtesy website says they have them in stock. I got mine from Vintage Rubber in their kit. You could contact Randy to see if they're available separately. The Courtesy website says they have them in stock.I assumed that they were no longer available from Nissan. Call or email David House at Courtesy Nissan. If they are still available he will be able to get them for you. dhouse@Kag-1.net Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/45273-where-to-find-quarter-window-molding/#findComment-410415 Share on other sites

January 9, 201312 yr Author comment_411290 OK,...I received my quarter window moldings today, (Thanks David @ Courtesy). Now,...how do these attach to the window frame? The molding appears to have screw holes in them,...but there are no attachment screws or holes on the window frame itself. The molding has a metal strip with the back covered in rubber. Does it glue on? any ideas????? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/45273-where-to-find-quarter-window-molding/#findComment-411290 Share on other sites

January 13, 201312 yr comment_411801 Missed your post. Check out this thread:http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/thread34108.htmlThree screws and glue are necessary. Apparently early '71's and earlier z's didn't have this seal. Also, the part numbers I listed earlier are for the lower quarter window seals. The correct part numbers are:76837-N4500 WEATHERSTRIP-SIDE WINDOW RH76838-N4500 WEATHERSTRIP-SIDE WINDOW LH76840-E4100 RUBBER-SIDE WINDOW LOWER RH Banzai MW RU-0376841-E4100 RUBBER-SIDE WINDOW LOWER LH Banzai MW RU-03Dave Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/45273-where-to-find-quarter-window-molding/#findComment-411801 Share on other sites
