Senior Member?

Hi guys,

I looked into this. The user titles are based on number of posts. Here's the current layout:

Infrequent Member (Minimum Posts: 0)

Active Member (Minimum Posts: 10)

Professional Zcar Nut (Minimum Posts: 50)

Now, there is no Senior Member. There might have been a Senior Member at some point, but, that was renamed to Professional Zcar Nut. I think BabiKiller's title was never updated.

I do have the option of allowing custom titles (modified by you), but, that is not enabled.

Every time the user title thing changes, I am supposed to click "update user titles" and I haven't done that in awhile. I'm going to do it now. We can check Carls title after that.

Because NOBODY wants to be responsible for Kyle........... we all would like to hang out with him, have a few beers and get into some trouble with him. but we don't want to be responsible for him

Mikey: Thanks for clearing up the mystery. What is the chance of enabling that option you mentioned where we can choose our own moniker. Not to complain, but I always prefer to to "stand out" from the masses, rather than to be lumped in with the "staus quo". There's something about individuality, & freedom of expression that I love.

Having brought this to Moderator Mike's attention all that I have managed to suceed in is to remove Senior Member and possibly other monikers that haven't been noticed.:tapemouth

How about enabling the option and hopefully restore the status quo?

[Actually interested in what mind bending monikers all will endeavour to come up with].

Sounds a bit like big brother to me.

I can't say that there has been any post, thread, joke [apart from the kitty handle] that has offended me.

We're all responsible Z owners and to say otherwise would be demeaning of what the list and the club stands for.

After all you can already add your postscript so why not change you moniker!

A similar reason was given to the people of the Soviet Union for the oppression of millions. "Trust us, We know what is best for you".

Same thing can be said about allowing posts before being approved by a moderator (which hasn't been deemed necessary yet).

I get it...... and I agree, I was just mentioning a possible reason for it not being allowed. I love the freedoms we have and am not suggesting anybody be censored....... shot maybe but not censored.

There is an option to report the post to the moderator, if anyone is terribly offended by the content.
