1 month passed.. lots of work done on the 240Z. It's almost ready for paint.. maybe 1 or 2 more weeks. I guess it's ready again in end of April.

I still love that color. I wanted to paint my first Z that color but it came out a lot darker...

Do you know where your paint shop got the rear inner fenders? I'm going to start my 240z restoration soon, also in Europe -  Stuttgart!

Yeah, it looks really good.. Subaru blue if i am correct, don't know the exact paint code, would have to ask the shop

The inners he used them from another brand and modified them to fit, to look like the original, at least that's what I was told by him.

Outers came from a shop in the US.

Could you ask him someday which ones he used (inner fenders)? I am also looking for a replacement but it is quite expensive to get them shipped over to Germany.

Okay. Here's a picture of today. The 240Z is back, standing next to his big brother  . 2 Icons of 70's USA...

Did some work yesterday cleaning up the engine bay and interior, cause it was al dirty from standing all that time in the paint shop. Only problem I know have is that the voltage regulator is shot ( I think the accident last time, that caused the damage gave it a final blow. It was reading 17.2 Volts at idle, so shut it down before frying the wiring.. ), ordered one, and it is on the way from Japan...
