Looking forward on buying this Z but would like to know if I'm getting a good price. Can someone please let me know if this Z is a decent price at 2K?

What are you plans for it? Modding? Restoration? Drive it AS-IS? It would be more clear if you tell us what you plan on doing it with it.

IMO, the car is worth <$1k. Any rust on the car will put a dent on your pocket if pay someone else to do it.

Ultimately, I want to restore the body and modernize the interior and to one day drop a VQ35 in it. but Drive AS-IS for now.

IMHO your concerns are in all the wrong places. The bondo crack and rusthole on the door indicate some serious rust issues that were probably repaired in a shoddy way. The rust in the door frame is very serious. You need to get under that car and see what it looks like. There is probably extensive rust under there. You also need to open the rear hatch and take out the spare to see what's under it (rust).

If you are looking for a car to drive for $2K then unfortunately you should look elsewhere. At first glance the car looks nice, but I suspect a basket case. Sorry.

What does it look like under the car?, frame rails, floor pans, etc. I agree with everyone. Unless you are into parting out cars I would stay away from it. Plenty of good Z cars out there. Patience is a virtue. Too much to do to make this one right as far as cosmetics. Who knows what it needs mechanically.

Now if you can get it for $500 and you have an understanding wife, I once bought a Z just like that for $400 sold the front spoiler for $75, wheels for $300, bumpers for $100 each, various other parts for about $800 more. I handed a couple hundred to my wife and said "go shopping." Now, she never questions anything I do parts car wise... I kept the engine and transmission and built it up for my other Z.

Oh, I agree with Zedy, triple what you see and you will have an idea of just how much rust you're dealing with...
