I spend a few hours uploading photos of my new z to my gallery the other day.

I thought the process could be speeded up a bit by being able to select multiple files for upload, instead of one at a time.

Couldn't you have a bit where you can select how many

pictures you are going to upload (say up to a max of 10)

then it loads a form with that many select/browse items.

Then i could hit go, and go an have a coffee while it pumps them up through my 56k connection.

Also on the members profile, a link to the members photo

gallery would be nice. It's alot easier to find a member in the members section, than to find a member in the photos section. Usually i hunt for a post by that member and click the my gallery link, but a link on the profile would make things a lot easier.

There is an option to allow ZIP uploads (compressed archives), but, I never really got that working correctly. I should spend a few more hours getting that going so we can make this an easier task. Thanks for the suggestions. I agree with you totally.

I completely agree Mike I found it a very long process to upload photo's. I totally love this site but have found that to be the most clumbsy process.

Uploading pics seems to be problematical on most sites, particularly for amateurs like me. But there are steps that if taken would make it easier to do and therefore lead to more involvement by posters which can only be good. The worst thing that can happen is you go to a fair bit of trouble to get to the upload stage and then it doesn't happen.

Like when I tried to upload a pic and it was rejected with the cryptic and unhelpful message Wrong Format. Ideally there needs to be a set of step by step instructions on what is required, particularly on limits and restrictions which often vary from forum to forum.

This is a good forum but the pic upload aspect is sub-standard IMHO.
