March 24, 200322 yr comment_31149 Cool! I personally don't like red on the car, but hey. What's he got under there? L28? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/4557-kpgc110-pictures-loaded/#findComment-31149 Share on other sites
March 24, 200322 yr comment_31152 Alfa, this isn't a replica race car. This is the real thing in factory [aussie team colours].L28? what do you mean?. Thats definately a L24 block residing under the bonnet and he has the CAMS logbook to prove it!It's really great to see a KGL with a genuine competition history still in business. March 24, 200322 yr comment_31155 Oh, I see. I thought it looked like an L24 but you said it was a trick bit of kit so I immediately thought it was just some backyard jobbie with the average L28 swapped in, as it is kinda poor condition. If it's a real race car from way back, then it explains everything, and the reasonably average condition is quite excusable!!!!!!!Any more pics of the outside / inside? March 25, 200322 yr comment_31250 Hey Guys,Speaking of 240K's, did anyone see the one that was on show at the Clipsal 500 V8 race over the weekend? It was a pretty mental setup with an EFI L28 MID MOUNTED! It basically sat next to the driver in the cabin with the brake booster etc moved rear of the driver!Does anyone have any more details above this car? I think it is a Southern Districts CC car?Cheers,Ross.
