Installing Heaters/Cooling to "stock" seats

I have been doing some research on units to purchase and install into my 260z when I get my interior redone in the next month and I was wondering if anyone has had this done, verses installing full seats from different cars, of if anyone has done any DIY projects and installed anything like this.

I love the idea of keeping the stock look but I want to add features, upgrades and items that are great but kind of undercover.;)

Hey Herman,

A friend of mine did just that. He bought the heater elements from an online site called Camp914.com. When he recovered the seats, he placed the elements and then wired them up to the dash. When he turns them on, it's heaven! He is up in El Dorado Hills and a heck of a nice guy. I could put you two together if you need counseling on it but it was pretty straight forward as I recall.

They would be awesome, thank you very much. I was looking at getting the units and having a company that would be recovering my seats do the install on that as well, butvifvhes already done it, I'd love to talk to him about how they work and how worth it they are and if it is noticeable at all from a visual prospective

Look through my friend list on Facebook. His name is Paul Sayegh. He can hook you up with sources and whatever you need. Lives in El Dorado Hills, has the nicest 914 probably on the planet, easily a $75K car. Once you find him in my Friend list just PM him and tell him you know me. Did you ever come to the Sacramento Porsche Family Reunions at the donut shop? He came down two or three times to those.
