Another 280Z bumper question

Hi guys

I`m really sorry if this is another question about these large bumpers, but I am not able to find any information that I can use. I wanna get rid of my bumpers, and I have a MSA type 3 kit in my garage which I got from a friend (probably ment to fit the coupe model) . But I wanna know if anyone can tell me, can I get 240z bumpers to fit on my -77 280Z 2+2? I have heard that the 2+2 is wider at the rear end and that the 240 bumpers might not fit? Cause, if the 240Z style bumpers may fit I wanna go for that classic style instead of the MSA kit. And besides I would guess the MSA kit is harder to make a nice

Really hope anyone can help me out here, and maybe someone can link me to information on How-to`s?

Thanks from Norway:)

If you get no answer from this forum, try Viczcar.com.In Austrailia the 260z 2+2 all had the skinny bumbers 240z style front and rear oem from the factory. They never had the fat bumbers like in the u.s.One of viczcar members on the forum could probably answer your question?

Maybe the early 260z 2+2 us had the skinny bumbers, not sure.

Good luck

I remember one guy try to install 240z tail light to 280z 2+2. However, the size of tail light surrounding is wider on 2+2 and 240z tail light surrounding did not fit.

240z bumper might not fit to 280z 2+2....

Yeah, I have heard that someone know someone as well. Sorry to say that they maybe did som changes to these cars over the years. But it would be fun to find someone who can confirm if it`s possible or not...
