jfa.series1 Posted February 10, 2013 Share #2 Posted February 10, 2013 A nicely documented car and it looks very good overall. Of course, I'm a sucker for 920 Gold. Not a fan of the split exhaust nor the paint job on the tailight surround that covered the SS trim but those things can easily be changed.
Carl Beck Posted February 11, 2013 Share #3 Posted February 11, 2013 As the Seller States: "I have done various things to bring it to a restored driver condition vehicle."I think that may be a very concise summary. Sounds like he took a very nice car and "refreshed" it without spending a ton of money. Now it's ready to drive and enjoy. We might look at this as a 240Z that has been preserved.. One that could be driven for the next 5 or 10 years, and if cared for could be the basis for a future full restoration.Bought for $12K or less it might be a bargain. At $12-14K it would might still be a reasonable car at a reasonable price. The paint and body work that is somewhat below "show" quality may hold the selling price below $15K. FWIW,Carl B. ksbeta Posted February 11, 2013 Share #6 Posted February 11, 2013 I've never seen exhaust exit in front of the rear wheels like that on one of these cars. If that's what that is.

psdenno Posted February 11, 2013 Share #8 Posted February 11, 2013 Heater and A/C "not tested". Not a difficult task, I wonder why he points out that they weren't tested?Dennis
madkaw Posted February 11, 2013 Share #9 Posted February 11, 2013 I think the 71 that I am getting ready to sell will compare with this one. Refreshed, but not restored, but ready to drive anywhere. My car will have refreshed suspension-which this seller didn't do, which would make the ride much different. On the other hand, I haven't rebuilt the motor, but at 85k miles , it doesn't need it.The bumpers not original, but very nice. Something going on with the rear bumper though-look at the right rear.I don't like those wheels at all-ugly. The exhaust does not look good either. Overall a nice car.
