Still looking for EURO taillights for a 1972 Datsun 240Z. Even the clear ones have now disappeared from e-bay. Anyone have any suggestions - the car should be here in the next 10 days or so.

Best regards,

Philip

i was bidding on a set on yahoo japan auctions. dropped out after 500. Price went to 900

but they were brand new.

Brand New as in New Old Stock? $900.00 USD would have been 1/2 price. Or where they almost like new? $900.00 in that case would still have been below the normal market. As the economy recovers they will most likely go up in price.

Yes they were brand new. He had the nissan factory packaging too. There were/are aftermarket

ones made in japan for 800 on that jdm datsun website. Don't know if they're still available though.

Outbid on a 2 knob rally clock w/oscillator last nite too. Damn those datsun guys over there have got some deep pockets. I stopped at 350. It sold for 370.

Thinking completely outside the box, I believe an amber LED, emitting monochromatic light, would still appear amber after passing through a red filter. For instance...

Went to DMV today. They told me I have to have the yellow blinker lights to register in Norway. Went to an electrician, he said put yellow bulbs in the back-up lights. Sounds good to me.
