Gentlemen and ladies

This afternoon I pulled my exhaust manifold off to replace the gasket (if found the 5 leaks I had). Well the #1 exhaust liner is loose, I can move it around nicely in the port. Could this cause issues? I've seen people remove these but I don't feel like doing all that work if I can just leave it in there.

When it heats up it might be tight then. Could be just loose when its cold. They heat up red hot for emmisions which will make them expand.

Pulling them out would make the exhaust port pretty ragged. That probably wouldnt help flow at all.

I have a N47 on my L28. These heads are known for cracking, but the exhaust liners in mine were tight last I checked.
