Help identifying turbocharger on modified S30

Hello again,

The big orange van just dropped off my recently purchased 240Z formerly known as "Bakers Bully." I posted some pictures in the members area. It's a really neat little car and is nicely set up. I've found two puzzlers. I can't identify the turbocharger. Its compressor exit has an elbow cast with or welded to the main housing. I also didn't find a manufacturer name.

Next, it looks like someone welded a sump extension to the oil pan. Is this common? I think the original setup ran a diesel stroker crank. Did they need the extra room?

Thanks for any insight. It has turned cold here again so it will be few days before I will be spending more time in the garage.
