Hi all, I wanted to send a message to those of you who purchased items in our club store. At this time, all of the items (except the Microfiche CD) in the club store are assembled and distributed by someone else.

While I have purchased and examined a few pieces of their products, I wanted to know what you thought about these items. So, please feel free to let me know what you think about them.

Many of you should have your orders by now. What do you think?

I removed the license plate frame product from our store. I have had reports that the lettering is nothing more than a vinyl sticker placed on a frame. In my opinion, I would not want to see something like this on a show-quality car or even a daily driver.

Sorry for the confusion on this. The manufacturer did not disclose this information to me before they were produced.

If you purchased a license plate frame, please return it for a full refund. Instructions about this should be in your tracking / shipping information.

Hi Dwight, Excellent news (baby and the bib). I was wondering when someone was going to buy a bib. If I had a baby, I'd put one of those on him/her ! Nothing like a true Z fan. :D

Yes, please let me know how you like the products.

Hi Mike:

Thanks for the heads upon the License Plate frames. I for one would not have been happy with a frame with a vinyl sticker. Is there a chance that something in metal (perhaps with less lettering options) could be made available? Maybe just a "Classic ZCAR.com" frame? If not, that's OK, but it's sooo hard to find a cool frame that I thought I'd ask.

Soon as the tax return hits my bank (and the calender is available) I'll be placing my order.

I will probably buy a shirt but I was wondering if it would be possible to have clothing with colors matching as close as possible the colors of the cars? If I could get a shirt matching my 112 yellow I would be very happy. There might be a problem producing just a dozen or so of any color. Short of that it would be nice to have some nice colors to choose from. The store is a good idea.

I purchased a T-shirt and a travel coffee mug. Both of these items arrived today. And, I like both of them! Here's a little bit about each one:

Tshirt = This item is a white Beefy-T product and the logos seem to be transferred onto the shirt using some kind of press system. They aren't silk-screened logos as you might expect. After reading the information about these products, I understand that I am supposed to wash it in cold for the first few times to prevent fading.

On my scale of 1 to 10, this shirt comes in at least 6 or 7. It's a medium quality item.

Travel Mug = This item is metal and the logos are transferred using some kind of electronic method. I can't see a seam or any evidence of silk-screening. It appears as if the logo is part of the metal itself. After reading the instructions about this item, I understand that it's dishwasher safe! Excellent. The logo comes out in a metallic look because the white background is actually clear. In other words, the white Z in the middle is now showing through to the silver metal below. Actually very cool looking.

On my scale of 1 to 10, this travel mug comes in as a 10. Very nice item!

Just got my first order in!! The baby's little hooded sweatshirt is just adorable, I can't wait to see him in it!! The boy's caps look well made, they have a velcro adjustment in the back instead of the snap tabs, I will let you know how they like them.

I'm keeping it all because as I understand it, the profits go to support the club.

With that said, I'll be critical... I wouldn't pay these prices if I saw them in the store or a catalog. All I can think of is the iron on logo's from when I was a kid. I hope I'm wrong.

The bib and shirt are a decent quality material, but if you tug on them slightly you can see that the "logo" will split and crack rather easily.

The stickers look like something I could print out from my computer myself, but they are inexpensive so go for it!

Overall, I am happy that there is Z merchandise available

Hi Mike,

I just got my baby doll tee shirt, and I love it! It is well made and of good material. I ordered a lady’s small and it fits perfectly. However, there is a problem with sizing. The only size option it gives is lady’s sizes small, medium, and large. The label on the shirt says girls and the order form says junior (which runs just a little smaller than lady’s). It looks like a junior small to me, which is what I would have chosen anyway, so it works out for me. Folks might just want to keep in mind that the shirt runs a little smaller than regular lady’s sizes. This may not apply to all the shirts, the one I ordered is the one with the 240z club logo.

Z ya,

Bonnie :classic:
