Hi all:

I need to figure out what pieces I need to re-fill in these two kick panel areas. Does anyone have pics of what these areas are supposed to look like? And/or can list what pieces I need to be on the look out for? See pics of what mine look line now. post-29025-14150823050061_thumb.jpg

There is nothing left on the driver side and on the passenger side, the fuse box does have a cover but that's about all that is there. I need to fill all of this in and get new carpet.

Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thank you :)

For future requests, you need to include some details about the car, like the manufacture date, to get relevant responses.

On the later years (mine is a '78) there is a lower cover that goes along the bottom edge on both sides. The first picture is the left lower cover, except the left end was broken off, and the second picture is the same cover when installed. There is a similar cover for the right side. Its function is to obscure your view so you don't see the wiring and such below- from a normal viewing angle.

'If you are asking if there is some kind of kickpanel for the side where the fusebox is; there is none, AFAICT, but you are welcome to fabricate one, and I'll buy a copy.

Only thing I see missing is carpet. I think one picture is sideways and another is upsidedown so that makes it harder to figure out. Oh, and rust. That's missing. ;-)

Yeah I am waking your brain up :) Thanks for the no rust comment: I have been wanting to take my new baby out but we still have snow and salt on the ground......I want to keep him that way so I will refrain....

I too thought there was something missing because in the passenger side you can still see some mechanical and wiring bits and pieces when getting into the car. I'll be devising a way to clean and hide that stuff a little better. It won't be "correct" but I don't care too much.
