Black valve covers on 240s

Recommended Posts

I bet this has been discussed and its a bit OT but how do you "feel" the effect of strut bar? It looks nice and if it has benefits, i might get one for myself.

Any strut bar makes a difference, the Cusco looks great as well. When I restored my '70 I also put in MSA's beefier front AND REAR sway bars. Working with the strut bar, the car tracks much tighter, it is a noticiable improvement. Those strut towers really flex with the 240's thin sheet metal.

The 240Z did not come with a rear sway bar, although the '73s had the brackets for them. If you like to drive enthusiastically, I highly recommend the sway and strut bars.

Performance gains, if any, are minimal unless the bar is triangulated.
