March 3, 201312 yr comment_416750 I have 215/60 R14s on my 260Z. That's only a little bigger than the 195/65 R14. It looks fine to me. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/45906-i-need-a-picture-anyone/#findComment-416750 Share on other sites

March 4, 201312 yr comment_416771 Here's my race car with 195/60R14 tires. It is lowered about 1.5". On a race car, they look good, but I think they'd look a bit small on a street car. March 6, 201312 yr comment_417006 Btw. what is the widest tire that fits original 14" slot mag? Currently running 195/60. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/45906-i-need-a-picture-anyone/#findComment-417006 Share on other sites
March 6, 201312 yr comment_417022 Koalia, the problem is that there really aren't any wider tires available in a 14" size. They still make racing slicks wider, but otherwise, the selection is dwindling. March 6, 201312 yr comment_417023 I have 205 / 70 / 14 on mine on a 76 - 280. I did have 215 / 60 / 14 Goodyear Eagle GT on mine before these, BF Goodrich TA, they are considered all season. March 6, 201312 yr comment_417024 Btw. what is the widest tire that fits original 14" slot mag? Currently running 195/60.The general rule of thumb is that the tread width should be equal to the rim width +- a half and inch. I just mounted 205/70R14 on my standard height series I 240Z with no problems. March 6, 201312 yr comment_417033 Btw. what is the widest tire that fits original 14" slot mag? Currently running 195/60.Depends. Those slot mags were available back in the day in widths from 5.5" to 7".
