FastWoman Posted March 25, 2013 Share #19 Posted March 25, 2013 Ah, gee... Sorry to hear about pete. He's a cute little guy. He looks like he was well loved. My 16 year old kitty is a fixture in my lap right now. She's turning gray and can't jump anymore due to arthritis. She sends her best wishes to you and Pete, as do I. 5thhorsemann Posted March 25, 2013 Share #23 Posted March 25, 2013 (edited) I've got another dog story for all the animal lovers out there. About a month ago this little red nosed bull dog shows up at my Mom's house, she lives in a dog dumping neighborhood- lots of houses with white picket fences and kids playing everywhere. I brought him home with me while she ran an add in the local paper, no response. I put him on a couple of Bully Rescue sites and made him a facebook page. After 3 weeks I got someone interested in him. Drove an hour and a half to meet them and noticed a BAMAZON tag on the husbands truck. They fell in love with the puppy so I started loading his crate and some toys he played with into his truck when I asked him if he knew the guys on the show BAMAZON, he says "I am one of the guys"! So that little puppy now lives with a TV star on 50 acres of land on Lake Martin in south Alabama with a little boy too. If you've ever seen the show it is Darrel's dog now. Good ending for everybody. I've never heard of "BAMAZON", not much of a reality TV fan and I felt compelled to google the show, ya know, to make sure the little guy wasn't gonna get eaten or something. Think O___________. But seriously, I feel for you guys that have ever had to put down your best friend, I've had to go that route several times, and it hurts every time. You need to understand it going in when you are looking at that cute little pup, if you don't have the heart to end his misery when it can't be fixed, you have no business getting a dog (or cat) in the first place. BTW snow in March sucks bad. Edited March 25, 2013 by 5thhorsemann
siteunseen Posted March 26, 2013 Author Share #24 Posted March 26, 2013 I agree but reality is not appropriate right now. Sorry 5th. Give Ruger a hug for us.
